The rules
The rules are what keep us civilised. Respect the rules and you won't get problems.
Be nice to each other!
- Don't be mean in chat.
- Don't bully other players.
- Say 'hello' from time to time.
- Have fun!
Respect what others have built. Some projects took a long time!
- You are not allowed to destroy or loot property of other players.
- Never build within boundaries of claimed land. (Unless you have permission)
- Always ask other players if you can borrow items when you need stuff.
- Don't steal from the diamond pile at spawn. These are community earned diamonds.
The game should be fun for everyone!
- Cheating in any form is not allowed.
- Anything is considered cheating, if you have mods that give you an unfair advantage over other
players. (Seeing ores, flying, faster sprinting, etc, etc.)
- Abusing Minecraft bugs to duplicate items is not allowed. (Just build a farm, if possible)
Don't go on a murder spree.
- Spawn-killing is not allowed. Don't keep killing players at their bed or at spawn.
- Don't target players specifically multiple times.
- (Unless you are battling)
- Keep it fun. Stop, if you are told to stop.
- Return the contents of someone's inventory if you pick their stuff up.
- (Except for their head, those you may keep.)
Not everything is free real-estate.
- You are allowed to claim certain parts of the world as your own.
- Claimed land is marked by placing border-markers:
- signs
- banners
- visibly different blocks that are not naturally generated.
- Make it clear for others that the border-markers are personal to you/ belong to your build.
- You are allowed to claim an entire biome as long you surround the entire biome with
border-markers.
- You can claim only 1 biome. There are still other players in this server.
- All land is free for the taking, with exception to:
- Already claimed land.
- The world spawn point at 0.0.
- The shopping district (all shops that are connected to the main road at spawn)
- The Nether Hub in the Nether and all connected hallways.
- The main End island in The End and connected structures.
- Community ground like public exp/item farms. Which have visible border-markers.
Yes. Climate change is a thing. Even in Minecraft.
- Chop trees all the way down. We don't like random floating trees or tree stumps.
- Replant trees if you're not planning to build on a certain spot.
- Don't mess the terrain up if you're not planning to build there.
- Fill creeper holes.
- Decorate quarries/ dig sites after you are done harvesting blocks.
- (No random empty squares or stripped biomes.)
Well... I think this one is self-explanatory.
You can help with these simple steps:
- Light up Redstone circuits.
- The constant light-updates of Redstone causes lag.
- Pick up items/exp at farms or place hoppers.
- Too many items/orbs cause lag
- Keep your animal count at a minimum if you can. Especially at the spawn chunks.
- Spawn chunks are always loaded, and a huge amount of mobs will cause lag.
- Don't build too many big mob farms close together.
- Spread them across the world.
- Don't build mob farms close to spawn or build it with an on/off switch.
- Spawn chunks are always loaded, and mob farms will cause lag if they are always grinding.
- Don't duplicate mob farms we already have.
- For example, 1–3 farms per certain items are more than enough.
These are the rules! Honor them, admire them, love them, cuddle them... Whatever works for you.
That's all, folks!
